Just starting to screw, glue, and tattoo the framing for the new windows. The worst damn part was chiseling out all the old teak stuff that was 5200's into place. Rubbed the pre-fitted wood down with water and a 1/8 bead of Gorilla Glue made this one piece again. Once in a while, something new can be better... once in a while LOL. So the old construction "channels" are gonna get a 3X dose of flexseal, believe it or not! Used it several times with good results, and this will never see the light of day again, I hope! Pats kid Scott is handling the new searchlight and PA horn install. Glad to have some help... still feels like Im stuck in second gear. Bent shifter fork maybe R Smith will get that; my money's on him hahaha...

The cub low boy had a bent shift fork made the shift lever pop out of reverse. I straightened it but I always had to hold my foot on it when backing up. I actually miss plowing snow. I think it’s supposed to be 13 up there in Pa tonight but the end of the week 50 and rain. That’s what I always hated. Mud! Pa mud would stick to your boots Ike clay. Couldn’t go into the house without taking your boots off. Attachments:

The Homestead was beautiful decorated in snow. My mom always said it was her Christmas house

I'll have to get a picture of it for you.

Thanks SKY! So whats the CUB for without a bucket? That guy would move snow that a blower would spit on LOL...Gotta mower deck/brush hog behind it?
Did some cursory cleaning and sanding to get some sealing action going on the cabin side window frames. Gonna get an early start tomorrow to get a coat or two of epoxy (clear) primer in to seal everything, and if that goes off enough, I get a coat of black Flexseal in as an underlayment for the window frames. After the structural stuff is built, I probably gonna paint the entire area outside with Interlux Jet Black in either gloss or satin. Im leaning towards the satin. Any one know what a good dulling/flattening agent would be? Maybe best to just get the right stuff?
Good a good chunk of wood sanded for varnish today and vacuumed cleaned for a coat tomorrow. Ill get there since the dust has settled, give her a wipe and a quick few coats. Gonna look nice and fresh!
The old Hailer speaker took a sunshine shit and was all cracked so I just received a new 30 watt unit for 29.00. Work continues on the new RCL 100 searchlight base. OJ is doing the install on that and its turning out nice. More tomorrowitis later LOL...
Walked by our new member SADEY's boat and both rudders are laying on the floor along with the stuffing boxes. Them freakin' rudders hafta be 300+ lbs each! Good luck Dave! Maybe he'll swing by here and clue is in?? Bill

The International had a belly mower under it when I was a kid. I mowed 5 acres with it every week. Now I have a bunch of 3 point attachments; post hole digger, generator, york rake, finish mower, brush mower, etc. We don't use it much but its handy to have around.

I had my rudders out last year. With the wear on the shafts, I had to move up my top shelf to get the bearings to ride on new meat on the shafts. Also replaced the packings and painted everything while I was in there.

Repacking job gone south. Bolts were seized so they had to cut them out. Sam’s or more accurately Alex at Sam’s is saving my ass. All new stuffing boxes with a one nut adjustment $875 each. Can’t wait to see your baby. Hoping to be there in March if not I move north in April for the season and plan on spending many nights in the barn loving her up.
