32v is the problem for the LED replacement. It's easier to just get a base adapter and go to a 37v halogen.

I need the 30 watt bulbs... the element has the curly Q support for rough service, as in slamming waves at night and not shocking the bulbs. ws

I bought a few halogens with G4 bases on ebay for my ceiling lights. I then found some base converters to get to the G4 base. They are bright and I don't see why they wouldn't work in the nav lights. Let me see if I can find them.
