Maybe we should welcome AI. At least there's the prospect of intelligence. Also, nice work. Freshwater must be a wonderful thing. All that aluminum would start turning to powder. I saw what seawater did to that plastic Hatteras. Aluminum in fresh water aint a free ride either, but its manageable. All the hardware is stainless as I move along on it!

Hatteras put a switch in the shower stall on mine. However, somebody removed whatever it was connected to. I've also heard people suggest it's good to drain the fwd A/C into there, rather than the bilge. So it would make sense to power it full time. When I really dig into this project I'm going to have to thoroughly clean that bilge area and see where the old screw holes were. That may be my only clue. Also need to see which of those cut-off hoses goes where. Hopefully the shower drain isn't compromised. It would be really hard to get in there. You do now want any standing water in the shower sump it is one of the worst smells there is. Best to let the pump run and slurp and gurgle so at least it’s minumised.
