This weekend is Memorial Day weekend......the un-official start of summer. What is everyone planning? Hopefully a ride in a boat? Picnic, or BBQ with family and friends? We won't have a yacht in the water yet but plan on a BBQ with the kids and grand kids. I had planned on going to the cemetary to visit. They have something going on to honor the Vets. BUT... Obambi is in town and is supposed to be there so I may just sneak in early in the morning and not stay for the service. I used to go real early in the morning...it is cool to be the first one to arrive. I'd see deer, rabbits and one time I saw wild turkeys!!! Pretty cool...huh? Then, maybe head over to visit my mom and brothers graves.....ppat

Taking the boat over to see the Blue Angels on Sunday, hosting the family BBQ on Monday, which, of course means Sat. is cleanup day for the boat and the house. Hopefully Monday a.m. we'll have time for the local parade. Unfortunately, won't be able to participate in any other ceremonies but proper flag etiquette will be observed all weekend, and thanks to our veterans and those that sacrificed their tomorrows for ours are extended every day, every year.

Thanks to all who stand or stood for our nation. They were the ones who gave us our freedoms.
How can obambi be involved in anything that celebrates America and the great things that Americans have done when he is so against all that we stand for. Go to the cemetery and visit without worrying about the contingent from kenya.

My thanks to those who served and gave all as well.
Ryan and I will be taking the 41 out for the first time this year and attending an event on the river which includes a live band. The band's bass player is a long time friend, and Ryan loves rock and roll. Besides, there is an oval spot in the middle of the docks where kids his age have a blast catching bluegill. We may or may not spend the night aboard tonight, but if not, we will be at the marina in the morning to give the ole' gal a good bath.
The festivities begin at 6PM tomorrow and will end at midnight. We'll spend the night on the boat, then we'll get up Sunday morning and see what else we can get into. Depending on what we find, me may just spend Sunday night on the boat as well since he doesn't have to go to school on Monday.
Hope all you folks have a good one.

We wish each and everyone of you a GREAT TIME on your boats....just know that we will be splashing Tuesday or Wednesday.... I can't wait! Only thing is ....once we get the Hatt in the water we still have projects to do on her PLUS we have to work on the HOG! It will be easier to do this stuff once we get in the water. Then we cut out the traveling time. More time to actually work on her! LOL ppat

Go to the cemetery and visit without worrying about the contingent from kenya. Thanks Scott...if I was able to go to the cemetary and visit my husbands grave and be able to move around this HUGE cemetary (they have a memorial walk I like to walk) I would go but because HE will be there my movements will be restricted. People go to cemetaries to visit loved ones. What is wrong with that concept? ppat

He could care less about anyone or anything that does not further his agenda. Why does he have to pretend he cares when we all know he is full of shit.
Maybe he need to go to kenya for the week to visit his families graves instead.
