Derek get some GOOD pictures for us Would like to be there also oh so many choices. I'll do my best, but will only have the cheap digital camera so no promises. Of course, the whammy appears to be on me now because we ran into problems getting a 903 Cummapart job done for a customer's Bertram so he won't be making the airshow and he just told me it was okay because it's supposed to be crummy weather for the weekend. Figures. But, how bad can it be? At least I'll be on a boat. I hope everybody has a great weekend!

WASHINGTON – More than just barbecues and family time, Memorial Day is the chance to honor members of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of their country, President Barack hateful muslim traitor says.
hateful muslim traitor, who has sent thousands of troops into war in Afghanistan, used his weekly radio and Internet address Saturday to reflect on what the nation owes those men and women who died in uniform.
Honor them with words and deeds, the commander in chief said. That means ensuring that combat troops have the support they need in the field and that veterans get the help they need when they return home.
"In short, by serving all those who have ever worn the uniform of this country — and their families — as well as they have served us," the president said.
hateful muslim traitor said the U.S. owes its position as the most prosperous and powerful nation on earth to a commitment from the earliest years of the country "to serve, to fight and if necessary to die to preserve America and advance the ideals we cherish."
hateful muslim traitor has been criticized by some veterans groups for planning to attend a holiday service Monday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery outside Chicago, instead of going to Arlington National Cemetery as presidents often do on Memorial Day and as he did last year. Vice President Joe Bidet will be at Arlington this year.

President Barack hateful muslim traitor's Memorial Day address at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood was just getting started today when lightning and heavy, gusting rains forced the cancellation of the proceedings.
The president, umbrella in hand, encouraged spectators to get to a safe place to ride out the storm and said he would hold off the ceremony because he didn't want anyone to get hurt.
"Excuse me, everybody listen up," he said before the event was officially called off. "We are a little bit concerned about lightning. This may not be safe. I know that all of you are here to commemorate the fallen. ... What we'd like to do is if possible have people move back to their cars and if this passes in the next 15 to 20 minutes, I'll stick around."
He said he hoped the ceremony could resume later, "but we don't want to endanger anyone, particularly the children, in the audience. A little bit of rain doesn't hurt anybody but we don't want anybody struck by lightning."
After a delay of about 30 minutes, the event was officially canceled.
U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Burleson, who was sitting to hateful muslim traitor's left under a tent with other dignitaries, said the president personally decided to call off the event after he saw lightning nearby and heard a loud clap of thunder. Burleson said hateful muslim traitor turned around and told his aides that he was worried about thousands of people being in an open field during a storm.
"He was the one who called it," Burleson, a Waukegan firefighter, said. "He was just really worried."
In lieu of the ceremony, the president planned to visit the service members' families on their buses, according to the White House press office.
Radar shows that the rain hitting the Chicago-area is still making its way through southwestern Will County and likely will be for several hours.
The President arrived in the area by helicopter about 11 a.m. He was taken by motorcade to the cemetery, where he stopped at the edge of a small burial section to lay a large wreath of red and white flowers. A bugler played Taps.
hateful muslim traitor, escorted by Sgt. Robert Crawford and Specialists Kenneth Brown and Christopher Pratl, stood, eyes shut, hands clasped, in front of the wreath. Then he turned and walked back to the motorcade.
Less than an hour before hateful muslim traitor was scheduled to pay his Memorial Day respects at the cemetery, spectators were flowing in to the sound of patriotic John Philip Sousa marches. Among those seated in a VIP section are families of troops who died during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflict.
Judi Sutter of Tinley Park sits among the first rows, wearing a T-shirt with her son's picture on it. His dog tags hung around her neck. Staff Sgt. Michael Sutter died in Iraq in December 2003. His mother worries his sacrifice is only remembered once each May.
"My son and other veterans should be honored more than one day a year," she said. "They should be honored 365."
The president's choice to commemorate the holiday in Illinois instead of Arlington National Cemetery has rankled some veterans groups, who see the decision as a sign of disrespect from a commander-in-chief who has sent tens of thousands of troops into an escalating war in Afghanistan.
Tom Pahnke of Manhattan considers such criticism an insult to his son, who was buried in Elwood after being killed in Iraq in 2003. He sees no difference between his son's sacrifice and those who are buried in Arlington.
"Our veterans and my son are just as important as those at Arlington," he said. "To have the president here to honor them is very special."

Well, the weather co-operated on Sunday and we simply messed about in boats. My mantra for the entire show... "I need a better camera, I need a better camera." Here's a brief rundown of things: We got everybody together and underway on schedule. I was in a panic to make enough ice for the cooler, rotating trays in and out of the freezer all week, got a Igloo Playmate full of ice from the club's ice machine. Had the wife pick up a bag at the store just to be sure. Morning of, I start to load up the cooler and I can't fit everything in because.... yup.... too much ice. Anyway, we set up our flotilla. Everybody tied up to both sides of the "big" boat and we kicked back to watch the show. The mascot was excited too: There were plenty of things to see, unfortunately the camera just didn't do it justice. The planes were a lot closer than they look in the pictures, but we did get a nice fly-by from our kite: The whole head issue went fairly smoothly with no blockages, but frequent captain intervention required. Instructions generally got boiled down to "pee and pump" and that served well enough. I even had a fresh rose in a bud-vase in the head because women seem to need a pretty place to pee and I wanted the ladies to be comfortable. But I want to know what it is about the toilet being on a boat makes kids need to use the potty so much. A kid you can ask any time of day to PB4UGo and always says "I don't have to." suddenly has to pee every 15 minutes. Here's a few of the "better" shots. They're okay, but "I really need a better camera" We had good seats: Made in U.S.A.: Could've almost hit this one with a rock. Again, the camera just doesn't do it justice: So the big benefit of having a working head was that we could wait out the mad exodus in comfort unlike the insanity of last year where we had to leave on the spot. Unfortunately my buddy had to leave immediately because the three women on the boat (four, if you count the dog) threatened a mutiny. I suggested floggings, but there was some response about flogging the admiral now leading to flogging the dolphin later.... I don't always understand nautical terminology. So we re-shuffled the flotilla and waited out the rush. A guy with a (what else?) Sea-Ray put on quite a show, having been grounded when the wind swung and then trying running starts to drag his anchor back out. I finally had a talk with him because I knew it was only a matter of time before he tore the pulpit off the boat or worse, snapped the anchor line through the windshield. He gave up, cut the rope and left. Fifteen minutes later the captain who remained with our flotilla dove in, waded over and got himself a free anchor. So it was a good day for most of us. I hope everybody here had a safe and fun weekend with some stories to share too.
