I'm jealous. It's always been my dream to have a dedicated shop for these projects instead of half of a two-car garage. I keep thinking that lottery win, or retirement...

i'm also jealous, the county wont allow any more than 300 sq feet below any house in a flood zone. have to have breakaway walls and flood vents equal to 1 sq inch for every one sq ft. of wall. i cant even have a portable shed on my waterfront property because i dont have a house on it. when we do build the 300 sq ft is all i will have for storage......but since the house has to be 22 ft above sea level i might be able to make it a double decker 300 sq ft.

yep, its in the plans..property is at 4ft 6 inches so it has to be about 18 feet up....that 22 ft is to the bottom of the lowest horizontal beam
