YIPPEE!!! Made Frankfort in 5 hours door to door. They put us all the way in next to the hot tub (!) and a live easy going local band here as well. Had the owner come down and get the wifi going. Expensive? Yeah but superior service! Bill & Ppat Regarding Frankfort; John runs a nice marina there at Jacobsens. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I only said it was expensive because it is expensive. I think he charges $2.25/ft vs $1.50/ft at the municipal. It is a better facility and it probably is worth paying a little more for that. I just wanted to make you aware of the difference. We like it there as well especially if we can get on that little peninsula area to the west of the regular docks.

John sure is a character! With the gal singing and playing the guitar on the poolside stage and him smashed with home made likker in a jar and a Hawaiian shirt with a straw hat I swore I was talking to Jimmy Buffet LOL. Pat seems to think she has the transport deal straightened out; at least the spoken language in Traverse City is still English LOL.
Can you email me youre number just in case? All my stuff is back home on the desktop! The BATA system here would be great but isn't geared around the 21st century population explosion! Seriously, the buses are retired school busses with fresh paint covering rusted out back ends. WHEW!
Has your area exploded like up here? Its very similar to Door County. Do we really need to make Georgian Bay/North Channel to get away from it? Driving down M22 was bumper to bumper from SB to TC! (20 miles).
Otherwise weather has been on our side. Storms missed us and water is very manageable. Tomorrow early A.M. is a fuel stop and off for Baileys Harbor, then home probably Thursday night. I do hafta admit I am sleeping 8 hours at nite instead of my usual 3-4; THAT in itself is a treat!
For Scott... this is really just internet buffoonery! It hasn't happened yet until I get all my digital film processed at Walgreens LOL...

Don't post any of you in the hot tub. There are some things a person can't un see.

Lake was perfect today. Took about 4 hours running 17 MPH. Yesterday was about 4' waves and a little rough. Bailey's Harbor stunk last night. Hardware store is gone. Cornerstone restaurant/bar is terrible. Served us $12 microwaved chicken sandwiches and stale chips for an additional charge. We split this morning without eating breakfast. Glad to be home and going for some excellent Mexican food.
