Bump for Sky's Oceania photos. Ok. I just realized that I am "pho-lo challenged" meaning that I can't find a good way to upload photos. I used a nice Sony camera which sent the photos to the Ipad. We created an Apple "shared album" with all of the photos and sent them to all of our Apple device family and friends. Now I can't figure out the best/easiest way to get them here. I thought about going back to Photobucket which I quit when they tried to charge people for their service. Since then, I just get them to my Windows machine and edit them with Photo editor or whatever it is in windows and then post. Its time consuming and I would rather be able to just dump them to some online album since I have around 300 photos. Any good solutions?

Okay. This is going to take some time. I have the photos on the Windows machine now. Each one will have to be edited for size so here is one to get you by for a while. I saw this in the Sydney airport. I probably should have bought a case to pass out when I got home.

Here are the things you think of when you think of Australia. The Opera House is huge and quite an architectural marvel. The amount of concrete in the structure is amazing and all of the tiles that make up the roof were imported from Italy. The initial budget was $8 million but, of course, it went over budget by ...................... over $100 million. Huhhhhh, that's not even close. The bridge was built in 1932 and is massive. It's similar to the Brooklyn bridge in size with 4 or 5 lanes of traffic and a train track crossing it. You can buy a tour where you actually harness up and walk up over the top of arch of the bridge. Vegemite is, well, an acquired taste. I won't say that I didn't like it, but it definitely not like putting jam on your toast. It's got more of the taste of beef broth; salty and slightly bitter.

We spent 2 days in Sydney before getting on the cruise ship. I really enjoyed the city and I don't even like big cities. This one in clean, the people are friendly and the ferry system makes it really easy to get around. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedThe first pic is of the cliffs near Manly Beach on the way out of the harbor. The second is from our balcony. We had a bow stateroom headed into Auckland, NZ, which was good because I felt the need to keep a lookout from there even though the captain and crew never asked me for my input on anything. Their loss. More later...........

Looks like an interesting trip. Thanks for the pics. Speaking of Brooklyn, the bridge looks exactly like the Hell Gate, which is a rail bridge just a few miles north of the Brooklyn bridge. I have photos buried in a dead computer somewhere, or I'm sure we can Google it. Aaaannnnd,.. according to Wikipedia the Sidney harbor bridge was derived from the Hell Gate. So there you go. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_Gate_Bridge

Where in the heck did all the "silver" hair come from LOL! That one pic I thought you were gonna ask for a badger hair brush and show them how to varnish! If the pics are on yer computer, right click on each one and open with PAINT, click "resize" from 100 to a 30. Click "save as" and put the resized pic in the same file with a new name. I list all my resized stuff as Z1 Z2 Z3 etc. A "30" (%?) is about the right size for here. I think 3 at a time is our bandwidth limit. Gotta use the "reply" buttun at the top right to open an enclosure window. The quick reply wont do it. Movies from youtube are a URL C&P. Now get to work! Even now, the ChiComs get all of their stuff by stealing our ideas and designs.
