Heres a recycled pic of another "looper" on the Mississippi in Wisconsin, We stopped and talked to him. His plan was to make it to the Gulf, dont know what ever happened to Him. Notice the backup motor, kitchen sink and registration numbers in spray bomb. Maybe the above pic is His new boat. Water Cop harrassment?

Seems there's people that don't understand that Huck Finn was FICTION!

No way. I figured since it was required reading in school it was true.
Please don't tell me Moby Dick and the old man and the sea are fiction too. I may not be able to handle it.

Well - chalk another couple up to modern day Darwinism. Thinning the gene pool some more.

I'm sure these idiots in milk carton rafts make the tow captains and lock operators upset. It's people like that that make a bad name for all recreational traffic. They'll be the cause of fees or limits to use for the rest of us.

Common sense is not a prerequisite for boating. If it were we would all be in trouble.

Common sense is not a prerequisite for boating. If it were we would all be in trouble. We may still all be in trouble. It's the idiots that make lawmakers consider stupid laws like mandatory life jacket wear, boater safety classes, and such. Most are just ways to collect more fees(taxes).
