Just came off an 8 day cruise with our 5 yo granddaughter. We were only asked along to be babysitters but she’s at a good age where we had fun with her. Left out of Lauderdale to Aruba Curaçao then was supposed to go to Labadee Haiti but the seas were too rough to get in. Ended up in Nassau. Symphony of the seas Oasis class 1200’ Royal Caribbean. 40knts 20’ seas even a stabilized 1200’ ship moves around. They passed out seasick bags and people were barfing everywhere. Fortunately our granddaughter has a cast iron stomach like the rest of us and we shuffleboarded through it timing the shots for the roll. Not so much for my daughter in law. My son and I were eating escargot at dinner and she started turning green and ran to their room and wasn’t seen for 2 days. The entertainment on board was great but I’m just now a fan of these cattle boats. It’s kind of demeaning being herded along like cows going to slaughter. Attachments:

Shoulda opted for the calamari! OPAH! Any engine room pics?? They don't let anyone even get close to the engine room anymore. Those days are long gone. Even if you get the "behind the scenes tour", you only get to see the kitchen, laundry, and the bridge.
