Well at least I aint no DEMONCRAT, Used tio get dragged to church at 0700 by the old man until about 8th grade and while in confession the priest asked me about taking showers with the other boys in school... RUH ROH!! Between that and confession itself there was penanace. Thats a few prayers if you did something wrong. Im no stellar pillar of the community, but I try to do right by people yet Im always being sentenced to 10 NOVENAS for a Hail Mary offence.
Today my storage guy leaves me a message and says my lock is not on the locker. Hmmm... I buzz over and sure as fuck, my eyes were as big as the fuggers that cut the lock; SCORE!!!! Rigid 400 pipe threader, TIG/MIG machine, a tool box LOADED with Starrett tools. Didnt take my 12 HP emglo compressor or all the SCOTTIE electric downrigger stuff on the floor right next to it tho.
All this for tossing a tomato on the ground at burglar king when I asked for no toms'? Next time the 20 volt chain saw is going into the confessional LOL...

Sorry to hear that Bill. Why did you have a storage locker? I thought you just built a new barn. Much easier to watch over it when its in the back yard.

Just finishing up the electric so theres lites out there (and tyrone). Got a 5x8 trailer and the kid reserved for 0830 today. The locker was the farthest away from the entrance to the complex (20 acre site), with an easily cut with bolt cuuter shank style padlock. The same one next door and that was hit as well. Everyone else had a round, hard to cut lock, so Im guessing that was the achilles heel. These guys hit all the easy lock then went and parked. They could go in a close the door and peruse and stack at their liesure, then return to load in a few minutes. To much thinking for dummies and too mauch heavy stuff for crack heads. Just a lucky shot for the bastards.
No one else but Pat and her kid knew what was in there. Payday for the thieves!

I’d still bet it was someone in the storage place. Like the cop told me when we were robbed 99.999% of cases are inside jobs. Someone who works there or has a unit there. IDK but someone who is prepared to steal heavy tools and welders are prepared. You never know who’s watching you ready to rip you off. A lot of times here they just move the stuff to ano locker in the complex to let it cool off. They have any surveillance cameras? They catch these guys here by going through the entry codes to se who entered during that time. When they broke into my shop in FtPierce I asked the cop if they were going to take fingerprints since there were greasy fingerprints everywhere. Cop says “what do you think this is Matlock? You watch too much TV fingerprints ar just to keep honest people honest. Smudges lines they don’t hold up in court and unless they were done professionally they won’t match up with the database.

Reminds me of the time they were finding all kinds of beer and booze bottle in the lot at work. This one "Braniac" chemist chick (about 23 y.o.) asked "cant we get them fingerprinted?" Doesent work that way. We were informed earlier that outr homeowners if here, would cover up to 75K, offsite "there" would be 10% or 7500. Hmmm. The agent called back this afternoon saying he didnt see the upgraded off site clause with the two hot rods stored off site to cover the 75K with a 500 deductable. So now the burden of proof isnt just a Kennedy tool box with machinist tools--- Each indicator and base and MIC etc etc etc will need to be catalogued. Its a good memory jog for me. The stuff that I inherited from my dads dad is what hurts. Home meade copper boxes for machinist squares; stuff like that.

That's terrible Bill. I feel violated just reading about it.
Maybe put the word out with the local scrap yards and pawn shops. Something that unusual or that quantity of instruments they may be able to pick up on.

Try this run an add on marketplace Craig’s and letgo or whatever offering a 10,000 reward say it’s family heirlooms with sentimental value and there will be no questions asked. When they show up cap their asses. Just kidding but I’ve heard people do that and the criminals are stupid enough to fall for it.

Police send out letters to people with warrants telling them they've won a TV or something, and they'll actually go right to the cops to pick it up. If they were bright, they wouldn't be committing crimes. At least not petty ones. They'd be running Ponzi schemes or selling Crypto like the smart crooks do.
