The other request I have of Kiwi would be if he could start a thread on some of his engine projects. I read in Capt. Dave's thread a post from Kiwi about tricking out some junkyard 350 blocks with vortec heads and getting 400 HP with not much money spent. I was telling a friend about it the other day and we both agreed it was pure genius. That would be the trick set-up in a Trojan F-32.

What are You really thinking about?
How about a Small block that makes a reliable 500ft-lb+, and 450+hp. With 500tq and 300hp available @3100 rpm. Good idle and vacum, mild cam, with a single 750 cfm carb and Vortec heads and will run fine on 87octame.
Power IS economy.
