What ever became of this?
I've been thinking of how I can use a RADAR array. My neighbors already think I'm related to Emmett Brown because of the motorized TV antenna. I was thinking that I could really f_ with the Joneses by putting it on my house and telling them I've installed my own weather RADAR.
Of course, it would be pretty interesting to put it on the truck too. Hmmm.....

If its an open array mount it on it's side and tell them it's a side scan or something like that. Or you could put it in the den as a ceiling fan.

If it's not an open array I might as well paint a bundt pan white and put a Raytheon sticker on it. Animation, man! It requires animation!
I think I'm going to see if I can make a DVD of some TV station's weather RADAR so I can play it to show the neighbors how it "works".

Scrap Al is 43¢/lb right now.
Thanks for the offer, but I was just speculating and don't really have the time. It's just that I have one neighbor who's really competitve. I got a firepit, they had to get a bigger firepit and two cords of firewood. That type of thing.
I'd just love to see the look on the salesman's face when they walk into Radio Shack and ask about a personal weather RADAR. IMG]http://i51.tinypic.com/sqk2mp.jpg[/IMG]

First I should thank Craig for the offer to fix the crt. But I'm thinking that after thats fixed and the array syncroniztion problem is fixed it would take the fun out of it.
I hereby release any claims or encumbrences to said Array. Futhermore, it is also agreed that I will not be held responsible for any incidental or conseqentail damages, including but not limited to accidental sunburn by the misuse of stated product.
I found the coffee cups.

If it was close enough to pick up it might be worth it for a goof. Paying to ship it, well.........
Scrap Al is 43¢/lb.
Thanks anyway.
