i have a raytheon r41x that i removed from my boat. it is up for grabs to ya'll for free, you just pay shipping... it was working fine, we got in some bad weather, and it quit working, and displayed a code(bearing pulse error) i think??the array started spinning fast, and would not turn off by the display, i had to turn it off at the array. raytheon r41x raster scan radar mariners pathfinder type 89858 ser. no.29637 anybody want it? ?

kiwi, do you want the whole system? display and array? i'm pretty sure it was water intrusion into the array that caused the problem. last night when i was taking it off of the boat, i opened the array to remove the wires and found water drops inside the unit. i still have to remove the wiring, so it will be a couple of days before i can ship it out. bigbill

Hey Bill, I plan on fixing it Myself and using it on the Roamer, the monochromes still come in handy for marking those damn Mississippi channel markers at night, also the suprise fog on Lake Pepin. It should keep Me on the right side of the barges. Soo, I'd take all the parts You can come up with, and I'm in no rush. It will be a winter project in the new garage. Perhaps I can return the favor with a little something. . . . Need any Laying Hens? How about some Wisconsin Cheese? Thanks, Kiwi

Hey Bill, the package arrived last night. Unfortunately the box had been droped in UPS transit and the CRT is broken internally to where the phosphorous coating is actually worn off the inside of the screen. Outer plastic case also has a fresh corner crack into it.
This kinda takes the fun out of My little project. It's probably not worth shipping the Array at this point. I would, of course still be happy to cover whatever expenses You have incurred.
If the package was insured I can help with the claim on this end if needed. I think UPS only insures to a $100 if extra is not purchased.
Thanks, Kiwi

Kiwi,
If it is just the crt busted up, no big deal to replace. if you want you can send it to me and just pay parts and shipping. I can replace the crt
