The USCOE are lowering the water on the river 3 feet tonight. Winds are supposed to be up 60 MPH. To prepare we have adjusted the dock lines and on the Roamer Willy tied her up on both sides of the dock pier to keep her from going under the dock. As this progresses we will take any and all precautions necessary to stay safe and to protect the boats. I realize this is nothing compared to what the East coast is bracing for but it is to us. ppat

Last night was sort of like Earl....it wimped out. TODAY, is another story! The wind is horrible and the high today is 67 degrees. A couple of times we have heard a crash or bang but cant find out what was making the noise. Tonight promises to be more of the same. At least this might keep the party inside tonight. Either way you look at it ppat is on duty tonight! ppat
