MDKAD 17kw 2000 model, looking for a heat exchanger, mine has 2 pin holes on the raw water side. i dont think having it repaired is worth it since i dont know how thin the metal is everywhere else. onan part number shows nothing on their site 130-5006-2 says number not found

after posting this i did some web surfing and found lenco and they must have made the original heat exchanger for onan because their part number and onan is the same, all demensions are the same so 417 dollars for an exchanger and 235 for all new hoses i should be back in business in about a week

Lenco is in my back yard. They're great to deal with and the product is excellent. I must admit tho, that for a manufacturer of such a nice product, the place doesn't look impressive. But then again, my shop is kind of a mess too. So, I guess I shouldn't criticize.

Is LENCO the company that makes/made SEN-DUR heat exchangers too?

Negative. SenDure is somewhere in, I think, the Carolinas. I had one direct communication with them and they put someone competent on the phone and got me the answers I needed. Also great people to deal with.
AFAIK those are the only marine heat exchanger builders in the US. But I could be wrong. It happened once before.
