Funny how they haven’t released any pics from the rov I think there was a pic of the tailcone. But I was thinking the same thing. It's probably the only piece that doesn't have passenger goo on it.

I would imagine the pressure squeezed the shit out of them I remember diving off Cozumel at 100 feet. We'd take a foam coffee cup down and upon surfacing would look like a shot glass. Thats only like 8 atmospheres. Then theres this... Soylent brown??

Yeah IDK something is fishy why the pictures haven’t even leaked. We all pictured a Hollywood type implosion but I would expect chunks of the carbon fiber like a crushed toilet paper tube. The kid had his lucky rubrics cube with him. Not so lucky. Wonder if the tube was filament wound

Interesting the idea of the different materials expanding and contracting. Failure could have been at a bond or connection point.
