Still can’t get pics to post UGH just finished repowering my 23 Dusky sinker. Replaced senders and pickup tubes in the tanks. The pickup tubes go through a aluminum bulkhead fitting that has an inaccessible nut inside the tank. One pickup tube was frozen in and I had to drill out and retap the thread in the bulkhead fitting. Just filled tanks and the bulkhead to tank joint is seeping gas. No way to take the nut off a reseal. Need to find an epoxy or whatever to seal it from the top. I se bunch of plastic tank repair kits for weed eater and lawn equipment but anyone have any sujestions?

My first sujjeztion is for us to stage an intervention to get you out of the icult and get you on equipment that has a real operating system.
Second is that there's any number of epoxys or other adhesives and I have even managed to weld plastic with a heat gun and filler rod, but for any of these solutions you need to be absolutely certain as to what material you are working with. Polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, pollyanna?
Do you have any positive way of IDing it, like a number in the little recycling triangle?

Remove and replace. No safe way to fix it. It's probably old enough to dry beer so it's not like you didn't get some time out of it

No way to remove it without destroying the boat. Nothing wrong with the tank I let the bulkhead fitting spin when I as putting the pickup tubes in an disturbed the sealant. . It’s a. Slight weep only when topped off. Says right on the tank cross linked polyethylene. Should be something that will stick to it.

I’m not sure that will stick to the aluminum bulkhead nut.

That’s a thought I can probably rig up a fitting to my AC gauges and pull a slight vacuum with my vacuum pump. Lock red is forever so that might just work

Gotta clean any petro residue off. Pull the vacuum then spray with brake cleaner. The capillary locktite is green IIRC...
