Bill,
Note how the head door and the galley cabinet doors and drawer fronts are not standard CC issue. Plus that refrigerator has been moved from where the original icebox/refrigerator was. Someone has put some money into that Commander.

Please give a stoopid $$ amount. Theres 2 X 300-350s with with velvet drive with << 200 hours plus some electronics; not high end but sericeable. Some clean up, bottom paint at the right time? Im thinking maybe 15-ish. Smokin shit or what? Part of the trade is a 30 foot SeaRatt that was hisw dads. Pretty sure its IB. sawone pic, condition is operable but unknown particulars. Anyone feel free to toss some numbers around. I told the guy the 58 is 30K. These two make it close? Another guy just below Red Stick (Baton Rouge) is gonna call tomoorow with a cash offer. This is what he's into...Rod, motor home and trailer. Maybe 200K into a prostock race car? Big Bill... wheres "No Problem Raceway"?

Bill, Based on what I have seen of old Roamers, Commanders, and even older Tiaras, I think you are in the ball part at 15k. Cleaned up and purdy, you might get more.

Old Decca super 101 sitting on the ground. It was THE radar in the day. PO claimed the Decca Super 101 worked when he brought the boat up from the Chesapeake back in 2011. It did power up for me, went through the motions but I couldn't see targets showing up on the display. When the crane came in October to drop the engines in I rigged the Decca and had him lift it to the ground. Based on what I can find online those radars installed were as much as a nice car back in the early '70s. I'm going back in with a lightly used 4' Raymarine 4kw Super HD Color I bought off a guy in Maine. It will be interfaced with Axiom 9s at both helms. View AttachmentWe had a Decca 110 which was the last generation. We had tons of initial problems when it was new. Magnetrons Klystrons kept crapping the bed. Finally got good components and it worked great for years. I was a wiz on tuning it and that was the secret to get it to preform. Later on I found the crystals would get weak and if got what was like a person with cataracts. I kept a supply of new crystals and it was like getting new glasses. People don’t realize too that transducers suffer a “cataract” issue too with age. It’s more apparent on my bottom machines we use for fishing in deep water but 10/15 years is about it out of a transducer. Of course with rapid advances today’s electronics things don’t last this long but I just replaced my Sitex unit I bought in 93 for $4000 commercial unit that lasted 30 years. But my new Garmin with a new transducer blows it out of the water.
