As most of you know, we made a rather poorly timed decision to sell the enclave. After putting the Roamer inside for the winter (Thanks again guys!!) we figured it was time to start looking for some property outside of town just a bit where a giant Morton building or barn could be erected to house the boat once and for all off season. Well, we listed our house and had a firm offer for $2k over our asking price in 3 hours. That, with little or no notice, left us on a hot search for new digs. At the 1th hour, we finally found a place from a pals' estate (RIP) about 2 blocks from here. We are closing in Mid December (thats gonna be almost exactly 11 years in this place), which means a mid winter move with tons of stuff thats been accumulated over the last 30 or so years LOL. This is the final purge, and I certainly hope we never have to do this again. Im still recovering from the kung-flu and can just about muster 3 hours a day of going through stuff. Still have tons of Hatteras take out lumber form projects and just plain ol' tons of vintage brass boat crap that I am not going to move again. Period. I sure wish you guys were closer with a pick up truck to come and haul this stuff away. OEM Bennett trim tab stuff in 32 VDC? BIG chunks of door frame teak? OEM cabin AC controls? Buckets full of shorter trim pieces? Getting started for today in a few hours again. Almost overwhelmed at 0630 hrs. ws

Now I get it! That would surely simplify matters. Quite a bit is going to various luggers around town. 40 yards? I couldve just loaded THAT and had them deliver the whole shootin' match!

Glad you found a new place. Does it already have a barn or will you be building one? I just put up a Wick engineered pole barn. They are based in Wisconsin, so you might want to check them out. It looks like a Morton, but they generally cost less. www.wickbuildings.com/

Its too bad that codes in town only allow stick built structures; 2x4 on 16 stuff. The lot will support a 40X60 shop with a 14 foot wall or a 4/12 pitch. We'll see what happens after I win the lotto LOL. Ya see anything you want or need in those pics? Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

If I was there, I'm sure I'd find some stuff to put to use, but I'm not sure its worth shipping any of it to me.
