So your screen name could be Ricky Ricardo. or just Riccarddo. Roll the c's and d's. ppat P.S. Lucy is beautiful name for the car. And won't your kid be needing a car soon??? How about Babaloo? The kid can have it when he gets his own insurance. But you've given me a great idea for the reveal. I'll bring it home on April 1st and tell the wife I got the kid a car. That should buy me a few days of peace and quiet. Hopefully not a lifetime.

A screenname needs to be spectatular like THUNDERBOLT or FIRESTORM. Or you could steal someone else's name off of another forum. Just think you could be Pascal on the corvette forum Exactly. Or could be self-deprecating humor. I'm not going to be Pascal (or a Pascal) on anybody's forum. Although I could go over to Milacron's forum and start being a know-it-all there.

First, you have to call it, Ginger. Then again, Roxanne would be appropriate, especially if you put a red light on the roof.
I drove one of those when they first came out, and it made me feel like Luke Skywalker with a really slow rocketship that squeaked. I did buy a new '82 Indianapolis 500 edition Z/28 Camaro with the his and her's carb-like thingies at opposite ends of the engine. It was no speed demon, but it didn't look like an arcade game inside and rode pretty dang good.
Good luck with it.

Confess, you really only bought it to give you an excuse for not finishing the bulkhead job.

It was no speed demon, but it didn't look like an arcade game inside and rode pretty dang good. Good luck with it. Yeah, fast they ain't. I don't know if it squeaks and rattles, but I will bet money that it does. Two throttle bodies staggered was the mighty cross-fire. A whopping 205 HP. No speed demon by any stretch, but better than the shame of the 1975 when the small block was making 165 HP. I think the 6.2L diesel in the pickup makes 165 HP and probably has more torque. A friend stopped by and suggested I give it to my kid because "It doesn't have enough power to get him in trouble." It's a red Corvette. It doesn't need power to get him in trouble. It's a cop magnet. One might as well be a black man driving a large powdered donut. I don't understand the hate for the Atari dashboard. I think it was very innovative and perhaps too far ahead of it's time. More and more instrumentation is going digital today, and analog gauges have been around for a hundred years. God forbid you do something new. Did you know the tachometer bar graph was the horsepower curve of the engine? Seemed like a good idea to me. Actually I would have added the torque curve too. But that's probably too confusing for most folks. Oh, and that third gen Camaro is one of my absolute favorites. Thank God my parents didn't let me get my hands on my college fund back then.

Not that I need another project, but this one is definitely a shop project and the boat is a home project. There has been marginal progress on the bulkhead which I will report after the weekend. Believe me, I'm weighing out the project list. The Westerbeke is a shop project, but an indoor one. So will progress when it's too unpleasant to work outside.

I’ve come to the realization I have more projects than useful life span. I need to hire someone to help finish stuff but every time I do it’s not the way I want it or they f it up.
