54 years old we’ve owned her for 45. Seems like yesterday when my dad and I first saw her in Lauderdale. She was HUGE back in the day. He passed away this year at 94. Never thought my son would be running the boat and I’d be enjoying the ride.

Another legacy owner LOL... Dad bought the Roamer in '72 so that makes 50 years next spring. Yesterday was the 41st anniversary of the LAUREN CASTLE sinking. I sure hope the ol' man is smiling down on me for keeping the dream alive. Pat and I just took the scaffold over to the barn and one end is about 2" too wide due to the flair at the beam to the building wall. Sawzall comes along next time. What a bizarre concept to roll the stuff around on smooth concrete! Next year Scott (Pats kid) is gonna run the boat and show me how to fish. ws

Still looks like a beast to me. They don't build 'em like that anymore. Sorry about your dad, but it's great that the family legacy is keeping on.

Great looking boat. Better lines than any of the new stuff.

What’s the jet boat? It’s become a yard derelict

20kts no smoke 500gal of fuel onboard. Old Bessy still gets it on

20kts no smoke 500gal of fuel onboard. Old Bessy still gets it on Looking good. I always love to jam the throttles in the corner when it's fresh out of the yard. Never going to be any faster than that.
