The little pro mariner is not enough for a real boat. I think you need at least 30 amps. If you were diesel powered I'd have a great victron solution. 3 bank 30 amp smart charger under $200. The Sentry that came on my boat was a 20a. It was fine for 30 years. When I put the pseudo intellectual charger on I went with 30a. Even though the feed wire was #12 it was on a 15a breaker. Every once in a while at higher charge rated it would pop the breaker. I had to put a 20a breaker on it.

AC Hatteras fused the DC side with shotgun fuses. And I’m still not running alternators.

Start the motor. Tie off the solenoid and you don't need alternators.
