i rather the sump style, one of my boats had a switch for the shower pump, it would make a lot of gulping/gurgiling noise when it didnt have enough water to cover the drain plus non boat people would forget to pull the switch on when they got in the shower and it would fill up and they would come out soaking wet complaining that the shower was stopped up.(not a bad thing when it was the girls). the sump style has power all the time and comes on when necessary

Hatteras put a switch in the shower stall on mine. However, somebody removed whatever it was connected to.
I've also heard people suggest it's good to drain the fwd A/C into there, rather than the bilge. So it would make sense to power it full time.
When I really dig into this project I'm going to have to thoroughly clean that bilge area and see where the old screw holes were. That may be my only clue.
Also need to see which of those cut-off hoses goes where. Hopefully the shower drain isn't compromised. It would be really hard to get in there.

I buy the 5 AH Battery and a charger and get the free tool. So far 3 drills, a 1/2 impact, and the brushless sawzmostofem. Used them all a bunch and barely got past 1/2 way of battery run time. Cut a chunk of floor out and get in there! www.harborfreight.com/20v-brushless-cordless-reciprocating-saw-tool-only-57549.html

After being gone for 10 days and then working on the boat to be ready for launch on Thursday, I haven't been over here for a while. It took hours to get caught up.

I'd have guessed everyone here thought things were slow. I'll try to stop writing novels about everything I do so it will be easier to comb through things.

I don't visit anywhere else.

And the lead-in for todays story... In days of yore, say 2005, my PC use was in its infancy. I just bought the sub and would travel for a week or two to NOLA for repairs and get home to spend a lot of free time on the HOF amongst other forums trying to sort things out. I woulds actually listen to the contingents over there, like they really knew the answers. Turned out to be a bunch of armchair exspurts that always had a better way. That goes to the doctor that wears ambitextrios rubber gloves for checking his oil to another ass-breath trying to invent a better re-breather for scuba diving... Google, google, google. Almost 15 years later finds me here with a brief discussion about something as mundane as whats better; mineral spirits or acetone. Across the hall are the exspurts still plus a few Ralph Malphs that know all. Thinking it couldnt get worser I finally succumbed to a Face Fucking. Try this one: www.facebook.com/groups/314339225358433 The major discussion for page after page is what do you polish your ratchets with when you are finished changing the spark plug on your lawn mower... RYSM ? These turds actually discuss Flitz versus Mother or Meguires and the correct color of red for restoring a tool box. A.I. is what life has become. From the elevator doorman at the last floor "upstairs" to the shit head thats shoveling coal into the furnaces in the infernal reaches. I hope mikepussy likes the graphite packing job....OH! And the aluminum diamond plate. It runs his nylons when kneeling on it during confession. Dontcha hate when that happens? Right. Me? I just MMOB and keep carrying on. The end.

Maybe we should welcome AI. At least there's the prospect of intelligence.
Also, nice work. Freshwater must be a wonderful thing. All that aluminum would start turning to powder.
