I've not heard from some members of HOF in the Punta Gorda and Sanibel area. I don't know anything about the damages in their area but is doesn't look good. My prayers are with them.
Up in Cocoa Beach it's getting sporty. Big gusts and flickering lights already. No rain yet but ill be expecting it.
Hows the rest of you doing?

That does not look good. At least it's coming at you over land. I'd hate to think what kind of water it could be pushing from the other direction.
Stay safe.

We were in the eye from 8 am until 130. So far no serious damage. The second bands are now coming. I'm hoping they weakened while I waited.
Jim (Zigzag) texted from Punta Gorda. He's ok and minor things damaged but glad it's still floating. No power or TV in the area so they're somewhat in the dark two fold.
Chris Meacham (cmeacham) was around Sanibel. I've not heard from him yet. I hope he's OK.
My local brother and all seem ok but time will tell if anyone got hit harder.
Any word from the Tampa contingent

I’ve got some dock damage but nothing major. Worst thing was the snowbird neighbors floating ramp broke loose and my son and I drug it up on his lawn before it crashed into my dock. Has been blowing steady 40-50 out of the west which is the worst direction for me. Glad I got the new sea wall in but still waiting on the dock builder. Going 12” higher should solve my king tide problems.

My neighbor just bought a house in Cape Coral. It did okay but he's gonna need to re-roof. I think my mom's place in Cape Coral is okay too. But her friend at Ft Myers beach lost his Stamas and his car and is stuck there for a while now.
Glad all of you are okay with minimal damage.
