They don't. I live in a small strip of no mans land that is bordered by St Lucie co and city of Vero beach. Even though half of the Vero POPO sits at the 7/11 less than a mile away a Indian River co sheriff needs to come from 20 minutes away. I informed them of the castle doctrine in Fla believed their British seagull spewing oil in the water constituted a felony. The 92FS in my belt hastened their departure.

That bites. Of the many things that suck about the Amityville PD, slow responding is not one of them. They're there before the receiver hits the cradle.
OTOH, maybe them not showing up is a good thing. Put the Blazer against their bumper and give the biotch 100% "access to the sea."
