Wow, that's impressive. Definitely a hobby for freshwater and a lot if money, or time, or both. Hey Bill, is that Scripps a variant of your American LaFrance V-12? I noticed that it was painted Packard green. I wonder if there was any tie to Packard???

My gramps 3rd and last wife Mae Langmade (ne KUTCHER. Lots of them up there yet!) had a house on the river between Cheboygan and Mullet Lake. Too bad they never came to a solution about a by-pass canal through to Charlevoix. Hmmm... I think your gramps boat was a 53-55 triple cabin. Looks lots bigger than the canal shot.
That Sterling Dolphin had bragging rights of 7-1/2 lbs per horsepower. YIKES! A 300 HP 350 Chevy weighs in at, well, just over 300 lbs. We've come a long way baby. I think yer CATS are rared in TBOs per pound or something like that. Boat looks super as always!
