I have very mixed emotions about this sale. It was definitely needed. But she brought Willy and I together in a way nothing else could of. She is going to a loving home with 2 people who love her so that makes me feel good.
May they take our wish, hopes, and dreams and take them farther. ppat

I hate when people say, the two best days of boat ownership are the day you buy and the day you sell. I disagree with the second. I could’ve cried if I had let myself when I sold my last boat and I’m sure it’ll be that way with this boat as well. Sorry you had to let her go but glad it will go to a good home.

The poor boat had deteriorated quite a bit from just sitting. The shrinkwrap is on its last month or so and theres a gigantic area of torn up road shreddings from the road work around there that the boat had 1/8" of shitty almost black road renderings' dust all over everything. We washed up with mud in the sink before we headed home. The new owners name is Thierry (and Mia) from Montreal and is on the HOP. He's Belgian and speaks Flemish/French. I told him Pispal can explain lots without the language barrier. I told Thierry that Frenchy know a lot actually, but is an opinionated French asshole.
"Tres Bon! Les typical Frenchman..." was his reply. They'll do fine! Blinding rain and zero viz fog all the way home. 70F in Shitcawgo and 36F at home. What a day!

I agree about the happiest days thing being wrong. But in this case maybe it's not so far off. If you can't use it anymore and it's declining maybe it is better that she's going somewhere that she can be brought back again. Maybe happy isn't the word. Probably more like relief in this case. Hopefully this means better days ahead for both you and the boat.
And yeah, the rain wasn't so bad, but the wind is cranked up to forty knots now. WTH?

We were. For those that want government run health care only need to witness the government run ATC system up close to scare that notion away. Oh that and autonomous airplanes as well.
