I know how that goes. Good choice on going oversize. Things like 90° elbows create a lot of restriction.

Instead, for now, Tee the two 1/2" drop tubes in each tank to a 5/8" line and run it to each filter inlet. This will mean that the stbd engine runs off of the aft tank and the port runs off of the fwd tank with no option for switching. But, that's only for one summer until I have time to pull drop tube and replace with larger as well as running lines to new selector valves. It will also give me time to remove all of the old piping.

But, that's only for one summer until I have time to pull drop tube and replace with larger as well as running lines to new selector valves. It will also give me time to remove all of the old piping. Nevermind. I think I found the problem. In removing one of the hoses that the yard had made up, I found that the 90 degree fitting was a full flow 1/2" but the other end with the straight fitting had the same #10 JIC end on it but it had something like a 5/16' clear opening in it. HELLO!!! There's the restriction. And it was on every straight fitting; so two per side. So, I just had 5/8 hoses made up with full flow 1/2" fitting to replace everything that the yard screwed up. Hopefully that takes care of this fuel restriction issue and I won't have to replace the rest of the 1/2" copper and selector valves and drop tubes. Its a start at least and we'll see what we get. But I'm pretty confident that I've identified the problem and that this will fix it.
