Anybody know how to work one of these things? We were having a discussion over lunch about Map gas vs propane when the subject of blowtorches came up and I said "I've got one of those!" I probably have some clubs and stone axes here too. But seriously, what do we fuel this with, and how does it work? It still has liquid in it, but judging by the smell I'd be forced to guess it's turpentine powered. I assume you pump up the tank to pressurize it and then it must spray through some sort of nozzle to atomize the liquid which I think was gasoline.

Well, that would explain why they fell out of favor.
I do get a kick out of him saying- leaded gas is too volatile, use white gas instead.

Everyone over on the Wanderlodge forum raves about the Earthquake impact wrench.

I got the Earthquake from HF the 1/2 and the 1" both are good but on the 1" the trigger position makes it really easy to hit the trigger when you just want to lift or position it and it's got enough torque to hurt you or rotate a 13 year old. I used to avoid HF for anything I use often but they're stuff has gotten a lot better I've had one of they're 20 ton air powered truck jacks for a few years and it's fine.

I checked out the EarthQuake line at HF last Sunday. I was impressed with 20.0 VDC but of course all the batteries are different from Dewalt etc etc... Still had lots guts (the drill) and No Way could I stop it by hand. Ive also got a 20VDC string trimmer (B&D) for the yard and have never killed a battery yet.
The HF/EQ supposedly outperforms the competetors. Check one out! ws

I wouldn't buy any HF battery stuff, or the welders. Why? Because the stuff is damn near the price of a Dewalt or IR. I find deals on the new dewalt brushless stuff. I don't even use air impacts anymore (except for the stubby Onyx 3/8 drive). My IR cordless 1/2 will do the lugnuts on the RV.
I do love my HF $399 (with coupon) inverter generator 2kw that performs better than my friends hundah eu2000i

NEW TOOL (and toy) came yesterday. 200amps, 15 lbs. If you want one, the 20% off sale ends march 15. I was going to get the Esab MiniArc 161LTS, but with the sale going on, couldn't pass this up. Plus this can do pulse stick and up to 200hz pulse on tig
HTP (rebadge STEL welders from italy) makes some great shit. The pulse mig unit makes aluminum welds that look nearly like tig.
Here's the pulsed mig....and if need a tig unit (that can do stick) they have the 221 tig machine that has same feature as the miller dynasty, but like half the price
